Kaiel/Kefal Transformation (Throwback)

A concept drawing of Kaiel transforming into Kefal, at will, circa 2002

The origins of “Legends of Saviors” lies within a Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball GT and Mortal Kombat amalgamated fan-fiction I had acted out with friends, wrote documents on, created a D&D campaign based on the lore, and crafted a short game made in RPGMaker.  I still have drawings from those days, and thought some people might be interested in what was going on almost two decades ago.

Originally – and still very similar to the current lore – Kaiel and Kefal were both technically two souls sharing the same body.  At most times, Kaiel could be in control of himself and his slight temper, and would be able to function as a normal person.  However, Kefal would typically take over and alter Kaiel’s body and mind whenever in the presence of someone or something on a high “Normg Frequency” level (which, within the Saro Perspective, is commonly the rare creatures/people that wasn’t affected by the Normg Virus during the end of the Perspective’s Primal Phase, and are still technically immortal).  At one point in the story, Kefal has been awoken so many times, that Kaiel is no longer able to contain him and control himself, therefore the Buntaiens decides to seal him away, temporarily, in one of the many rooms of the RuMa Temple of Par’N until they can figure out a way to help quell the demon within.  As it was originally, basically the same as it is now, some of the other Buntaiens find out that was a special and rare material that could be found on the planet Jagg would be able to be created into a type of jewelry (known as the “Bracelet of Raw”), to be worn to control the urges of Kefal.  As I said before, most, if not all, of the lore above is still going to be within the end product, including many other details I would like to discuss here now, but spoilers would be aplenty; perhaps later!
