The Original Kefal/Kaifal (Throwback)

The origins of “Legends of Saviors” lies within a Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball GT and Mortal Kombat amalgamated fan-fiction I had acted out with friends, wrote documents on, created a D&D campaign based on the lore, and crafted a short game made in RPGMaker.  I still have drawings from those days, and thought some people might be interested in what was going on almost two decades ago.

Originally, Kefal was the name given to the corrupted Water Buntaien Soul that Insignacious Kendell worked on, and would eventually be implanted into the body of Kaiel during his birth, by the RuMa of Par’N.  Kaiel would also, at times in the story, would be able to transform into this alter-ego – both by choice, and not – and use incredibly, powerful abilities against friends and foes, alike.  The second picture showed a concept on what Kaiel could possibly look like (as a man) if he was able to perfectly meld with his demonic side, and control his power; known as Kaifal.  As for the current version of Kefal, not much has changed with his overall lore (which I can’t get too much into, lest I give away vital information), and only small parts of his existence will be changed to suit new ideas, however the way he will look should be a bit different, specifically his color pallet.  One big difference as to Kefal’s abilities compared to then and now is that he used to be a brutal beast that could explode into a fit of energy-driven rage, obliterating everything within a certain radius around him.  As much as this was great, it was too much overkill, and didn’t fit a Water Buntaien’s theme.  Therefore, Kefal’s new ability will surround his usual brute strength, but also another form that water can take; a possibly colder and harder form, to be exact.

  1. Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
